El inglés me preocupa.
Me preocupa que las pruebas de nivel que hicimos en clase creen unas expectativas equivocadas, me inquieta que mi currículo refleje un B1, porque no me parece real y porque preferiría sorprender para bien que para mal, como todo el mundo, supongo.
Me preocupa no entender lo que me dicen porque cada vez me pasa más en castellano y en gallego, sospecho que en mi lista de cosas que hacer debería incluir una revisión auditiva.
Y cuando el inglés me preocupa cambio mi preocupación por otras preocupaciones y despisto al enemigo.

I'm pretty sure your english is much better than you think! And (once again) I'm SO jealous of you. I'd kill for an opportunity like yours to practice in real life and with no kids or husband or friends to translate for. And in Ireland! You will learn a lot, you'll see.

Hi Cris, level proofs are really trustful. When you get a B1 level, it doesn't mean that you have to know everything or understand everything in English, as this is impossible even in your mother tongue. It means that you can understand the most important things for daily life, and of course you are supposed to have doubts. You can use reference books to solve all the questions you may have and ask your teachers. And don't worry. Level proofs are designed in such a way that the rest of the people who go to Ireland and have gone through the same level as you, will probably know as much English as you. So, try not to worry and have a good time there. I'm sure you'll love it.
